The Stranger Things Book Tag

It’s also The Fourth of July soooooooo Happy Fourth ?????

Now, I work today *cries*, but I’m not too upset, I’m not really a festive person to begin with. But I am a bit salty that I’m missing it T_T.

And as I was looking for a post to have up for today correlating to the holiday because I completely forgot season three releases today yikes I found this tag on Lauren’s page and everything just clicked.

I did one of these last year with different questions, so I mean…. you could check that one out to if you’d like 😉 .

Epic Intro
A book that grabbed your attention on the first page

I’m going to say Nevernight, despite the fact that I gave it three stars, I always mention that the first and last third of the book were top tier content.

Dungeons and Dragons
A fantasy world you’d like to experience yourself

The Night Circus. Easy.

Keep in mind that this is a recent read, so the world is fresh in my mind, but magical carnival… NEED I SAY MORE??

Squad Goals
Your favorite bookish friends

The Ordinaries in When the Sky Fell on Splendor. Unlikely friends bonded through grief and an unwavering loyalty because it’s my kryptonite thx.

But I also compared it to Stranger Things in my review sooooooooo ironic amirite???

ABC’s and Christmas Lights
Your favorite mentally unhinged character

Mentally unhinged… look, my mind is blanking right now sooo we’re going to just skip this one.

The Upside-Down
A book that was the opposite of what you expected

The Flatshare.

Look, I won’t lie and say my expectations for romance novels aren’t the highest? I go into them with a blank mind… but this one was really good. It dealt with a lot of darker topics and the premise as a whole was unique. I mean, they share a bed and they’ve never met??????????????????????

Mad Scientists
The freakiest government you can think of

My mind is blanking again, but I’m not letting myself skip another question because… logic.

I want to say The Kingdom, because it’s Westworld meets Disneyland and the world is screwed because we can’t take care of it apparently and if you’ve seen Westworld… you know it’s not a fun time.

A scary book creature you would not want to go through your walls

I forgot what Kovit was from Not Even Bones, but can you imagine someone feasting and enjoying your pain??? I think that’d mess me up…

But I really like Kovit as a character, so he may get a pass…. yikesssssssssss.

Cliffhanger Ending
A book that left you wanting more

Guess who I’m tagging…?

  • YOU!

I realize that this is a very last minute post, so I am inviting anyone who hasn’t done this tag to do it!!!! 😉

Favorite Stranger Things character, GO! My personal favorite has to be either Dustin or Luke… so we know I like the funny types.

  1. Ah! I’m so excited to see that you did this tag! And it looks like you has so much fun doing it!

Truthfully, I haven’t read any of the books you’ve included (because I’m a horrible person that neglects their TBR 😂), but even hearing you talk about them makes me want to pick them all of up right now. The Night Circus has been on my list for far too long, and When The Night Fell On Splendor sounds SO fun.

I’m so glad to see that you had a fun time doing this tag, and I hope you enjoy the new season!! I’m currently on episode 7, and I’m dying over here!!!
