{ Blogmas } My Go – To Christmas Reads || 2022

Did I miss my wrap up?? At this point, there’s no point in mentioning when I’m off my (nonexistent) schedule, so we’re just gonna BYPASS IT AND GET ON WITH IT.

As much as I say I’m into the Christmas holidays, I’m not good at being into the Christmas holiday when it comes to my reads. Most of the holiday reads I see are romance and I’m not always in that mood. To be honest, as of late I’ve been in a horror mood which… we’re two months past that, I’m afraid.

Regardless! though this list may not be long, I have a few books up my sleeve and even some books I would like to read for said holiday.

reviewed books will be underlined 🙂

books on my list

night // the Narnia series // the sisters of winterwood // the golden compass series

books on my shelves

the book thief // the saga series {vol. one and two} // the bone witch series {books one, two and three}

merry inkmas // the bear and the nightingale// spinning silver

Do some of these books have anything to do with snow? Winter? Christmas? No. A lot of this list is just based on when I read them, associated emotions and overall books id want to cozy up with with my knitted blanket and read. I tried though.

How are you with Christmas-y books? Of course I’m going to ask for some recommendations, but to be honest reading wise, it’s really hard for me to stick to a theme. Hence, why I don’t make themed TBR’s this time of year… regardless! Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I have some winter-y books plan out to read. For my reading event I’m hosting, I will be reading the short story The Sandman by E.T,A Hoffmann.

    Then I will be reading The King of Elfland’s Daughter by Lord Dunsany, Winter of Ice and Iron by Rachel Neumeier, and The Snow Queen by Joan D, Vinge
