July Wrap – Up

Hello! I have sadly been missing which… wasn’t exactly a part of the plan, but I’ve been super busy. Doing big girl things. Whether or not those things worked out or not, I’ll get into it later.

I guess I’m also in a reading slump? Which again, I didn’t even notice? And normally, I’d just let the wave pass, but I have a blog tour coming up and… I completely forgot about it, despite it being an anticipated release. Oops.

books i’d read this month

We’re back with the rep. indicators! This idea was Romie’s @RomieWeDeserveLove so credit for the idea for these markers goes there!

It took me SO LONG to read Gone Girl? Oh my god. Truly a case of the movie might have been better then that boring ass book.

post you may have missed

anticipated releases // comfort reads // forgotten tbr’s

top ten list have been a life saver… they’re so easy.

backlist reviews

the dark descent of elizabeth frankenstein

goal check-in

❥  goodreads goal – 35/50

❥ finish darling girl ❌

❥ one backlist book ✔️

I’m adding a goal:

❥ focus on comfort reads

❥Do some book tags????

Like I had alluded to above, I’ve been slacking. Which is surprising to me considering I’d thought I had prepped better…? Regardless, I would have caught if if I wasn’t busy… LOOKING FOR MY FIRST APARTMENT?!?! Did I get the apartment…

… you know, if things had worked out and I was more prepared, I’d know by now. But, I am 99% sure it’s a yes??? You’ll find out next wrap up.

But, this month has been a bit emotionally taxing, yet not all bad. I went to the Hello Kitty cafe! My first concert happened a few days ago! I’m glad I got to see one of my favorite artist– Thundercat.

you’ve probably heard one of his songs if you’re on Tik Tok… here’s a link just in case.

And I saw NOPE! I had a good time, Peele rarely disappoints.

See, I just want to do more. I don’t mean going out and stuff (we are still in a pandemic after all), but hell, even if I sit at a dog park with my dog Athena… I’m going through a bit of an era. Right before my 22nd birthday and during a pandemic. Ironic, right?

Anywho, how has July treated you? Anything big happen? Tell me your most recent read, considering I just… have been failing at finding a book more than three stars… Let me know in the comments below!
