March had a bit of a slow down for me when it comes to reads, I’m still on my thriller type beat, but I don’t know what was in the water in January… I was devouring these reads.
However! March was a decent month overall, but like I’d alluded to in last months wrap up, a lot of new things happened (well, mostly one thing) and the fog that was February has lifted over here… I’m mostly content.
also daylight savings really kicked my ass. did not see her coming.

books I’d read this month

goal check in
This is a call-back to my goals and aspirations || 2022 post, I’d like to see if I’m staying on top of things. However, I’m only focusing on two (yes I removed the bookstagram one, it’s still a goal but… I’ve been lacking):
❥ goodreads goal – 13/50
❥ reviews ✔️
❥ reread the others series… and possibly write some notes for a review ❌
⤴ I still want to do this one, I just need to get my schedule in check
im also really scared when I tell ya’ll I was obsessed with this series I mean. it.
I’m going to add one more:
❥ read more physical books

This month has been tiresome to say the least. I’ve been sleeping and sleeping and sleeping, but that doesn’t mean exciting things haven’t been afoot!

I went paintball shooting for the first time? Yes, I am still sore, but wow. Let me tell you I would not survive the zombie apocalypse. I also tried hibachi and a lemon drop– a drink that is very popular in the romance books I consume heheh and again wow. She’s dangerous. I get the hype.
I started my new job! Granted I’m only training right now, but wow. I am scared and excited at the same time. I won’t lie, that’s majorly to blame for my abrupt stop to my reading streak. Makes me sad kind of, but again, new things are afoot and I’ll figure it out. But! For the most important news of them all……

I GOT A PHYSICAL ARC OF SEASONAL FEARS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. MY MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE OF ALL TIME AT THIS POINT OH MY GOD EXPECT ME TO PROCRASTINATE READING IT BUT GUSH ABOUT IT FOR ALL TIME. THAT IS ALL.
here’s my review of Middlegame if you don’t believe me.

How has your March been? I’ve been really enjoying blogging as of late as well as reading– this is probably the most fun I’ve had with it in a while. But also, haw many books have you read so far? Any exciting things that you’re looking forward to? Let me know in the comments below!

Best of luck on your new job!! I hope you enjoy it and everything turns out fine for you!! And same I absolutely would not survive a zombie apocalypse, I would die in the first minute so I’m enjoying my time on earth before that haha 😂
