February Wrap – Up || 2022

Welcome back! We’ve survived month two on 2022! How are we feeling so far?

I think I may have overdone it last month with all of those book I’d read because wow. I’m not going to say I struggled, but the voracity at which I was devouring books in January may have… awakened the slump monster. But, it didn’t feel like a slump?

I may not have read all of the books on my tbr, however I read some and that’s all that matters.

goal check-in

This is a call-back to my goals and aspirations || 2022 post, I’d like to see if I’m staying on top of things. However, I’m only focusing on three:

❥  goodreads goal – 11/50

❥  reviews ✔️

❥  bookstagram ❌

…and I’m going to add one more to the list for March:

❥ finish a show

❥ reread the others series… and possibly write some notes for a review

that last goal is very important for what I’m going to discuss down below.

I’m going to keep this section short, considering nothing… too… amazing has happened really? I feel like this February has been full of drama, life wise. A little stressful and aggressive and during this Black History Month… I’m not a fan. my anxiety has been a roller coaster.

That being said, I’ve been making some really scary moves in terms of work and honestly… it payed off? I GOT A NEW JOB! A GOOD JOB! A SCARY JOB BECAUSE I’M SCARED OF NEW THINGS. UGH EXCITING THINGS.

Regardless, March is going to focus on destressing and coming back to myself which also includes rereading my favorite series of all time because… I don’t know, things have been very up, down and all around.

So! How was everyones February? How’s your Goodreads goal going? I know a lot has been happening in the world and this month hasn’t been a bit of a stress ball, but I hope this March is where we’ll find some sort of peace ❤ .
