January Wrap – Up || 2022

Hello! We’ve made it a month into 2022! That’s not scary at all ahahahaha.

Um, I’m kind of going for a new-ish look for the wrap-up setup and I’d really appreciate some feedback! Other than that, let’s get into the wrap-up. My first wrap up of the year, because we’re nothing if not fashionably late.

books i’d read this month

We’re back with the rep. indicators! This idea was Romie’s @RomieWeDeserveLove so credit for the idea for these markers goes there!

This month was all about the new. Considering my hiatus for the last month of 2021 and seeing as I gave no wrap up (last year was pretty shit reading wise) I just wanted to move forward and focus on a first start.

backlist reviews

Ummmmmm I’m still kind of getting into the swing of things so… I only reviewed one backlist book this month. I also don’t know if this section will stay or go it’ll probably stay so…. be patient with me, yeah?

goal check – in

This is a call-back to my goals and aspirations || 2022 post, I’d like to see if I’m staying on top of things. However, I’m only focusing on three:

❥  goodreads goal – 6/50

I’m 3 books ahead of schedule??? On mostly audiobooks? I never truly understood the power of audio-reading and I am in awe.

❥  reviews ✔️

I’d written my two reviews for the month, not exactly the move I was trying to make, though. See, I wanted two extra spare reviews in my drafts, but….. now that I think about it, that sounds like too much… so I’ll see how things go with that.

❥  bookstagram ✔️

I posted twice this month, no new pictures, just some from early 2021, but people seemed to like them…. so I’m a bit squishy in the heart– call me grinch-ette.

This month was pretty darn okay. My biggest news is, I PASSED MY DRIVERS TEST! Now, if you all remember, I was supposed to take it in November. Yet, the curse of 2021 had hit me and some… complications had ensued. And it takes two months to even get a appointment to begin with sooooooo caloo calay as they say.

I have been tearing audiobooks up lately and it seems my brain craves mystery/psychological tingssss. Never thought that could be me, but wow. Amazing. Ten out of ten.

However, it has been a pretty uneventful month which I have no problems with. AT ALL. Let’s hope for more peaceful months.

So, my first request is of course going to be PLEASE RECOMMEND ME SOME MYSTERY/PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLERS. I don’t know what happened, but domestic thrillers? Have been hitting lately. But also, how has your start to 2022 been? Any good things happening? Any good reads? Bad reads? Let me know in the comments below!
