March Wrap-Up

As my mother has stated….. this year ain’t waiting for no one. I’m not mad at it, but damn.

Regardless, another month here and gone and I took an unplanned hiatus? Kind of? I’ve just been busy which isn’t a bad thing per say?

We’re back with the rep. indicators! This idea was Romie’s @RomieWeDeserveLove so credit for the idea for these markers goes there!

As you can see, quality > quantity, amirite?

A newer segment, because according to my 2021 goals and aspirations… I wanted to consume different types of media. So here we are.

(that and I didn’t post at all this month soooooooooo).

Now, heads up: I’m a huge fan of bad movies. And it is my goal to show them to everyone.

Fatal Affair – Such a horrible movie, it is my life goal to subject EVERYONE to this train wreck. And one person didn’t make it 30 minutes, so that’s fun.

As Above, So Below – I was under the impression that this was a good movie… and it wasn’t. I’m not mad at the deception, just disappointed I fell for it.

Species – …what can I say, I was on a bad movie marathon.

I Care A Lot – I had seen that this movie had been getting a bunch of negative flack and as much as I like Rosamund Pike, I just had to give it a shot. I do feel like it would’ve been better as a show, but overall it was enjoyable.

The Courier – Saw this one on a date and it’s still taking residence in my mind. I love quiet movies with great scores and the fact that it was based on real events.

Coming 2 America – Is it bad that I wasn’t as hype about this one as most were? It wasn’t bad, I laughed and enjoyed myself, but… I can’t see myself re-watching it.

Like I alluded to above… busy month. I failed my written test (haha it’s whatever I promise), my… romance life is new… THINGS ARE NEW, OKAY?

I did have a bit of a down period when it came to my mental health, we’re still riding the edge of that however things are looking up. I’d realized that I had stopped doing things that had made me happy? Life had become monotonous somewhere along the way and it was starting to affect me. So, here I am, returning to blogging because dammit it makes me happy.

Expect a lax posting schedule (more lax than usual), but… we can call this a tentative comeback.

How has your month been? Any exciting reads? Any exciting thing… at all? Better yet, what have ya’ll been watching? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Blogging should always make you happy and when it gets too much a step back is always good, but I’m always happy to see your posts pop up! Hope that the new romance life is going well and that the written test can be retaken (I don’t know what for, but I’m rooting for you!). Here’s to a good April!
