I feel like this post is counterintuitive considering the post I did a few days ago… but also not?? Considering the context of said post?
Regardless, every year I make a post in this sort of format… and every year I fail. Miserably. But that hasn’t stopped me yet!

Long story short: I want to get my physical bookshelf to a less… intimidating size. However, my brain has been on an e-book craze lately (I am an e-reader at heart). So, this list may be a bit ambitious, just to give me options. Which also means— it gives me a cop out if I don’t get through all of them… as long as I get through some of them. We take accomplishments when we see them.

Starting off: The Sequels
Want to read the review of the previous book? Here ya go: The Reader | Below | The Devouring Gray
I have a hard time with sequels commitment issues and as of writing this post… these three stood out. So there’s that.
❥ | The Speaker – Traci Chee
❥ | Night – Alexandria Warwick
❥ | Deck of Omens – Christine Lynn Herman

Now we’re going into: ARC’s
*don’t judge me on how far behind I am on some of these ARC’s, okay?* And this is the only part of this list that isn’t physical book exclusive.
❥ | The Never Tilting World & Wicked as you Wish – Rin Chupeco
Previous reviews of their other books are available: The Bone Witch / The Heart Forger / The Shadowglass & The Girl from the Well / The Suffering
❥ | Chosen Ones – Veronica Roth
❥ | Star Daughter – Shveta Thakrar
❥ | Wayward Witch – Zoraida Córdova
Reviews for the previous books are here: Labyrinth Lost / Bruja Born
❥ | The Silvered Serpents – Roshani Chokshi
Here’s The Gilded Wolves review… enjoy the mess

We’re going to lighten it up: Books I may mood read in the *near* future
I reviewed The Post X (and cried while doing it)
❥ | Teen Titans: Raven – Kami Garcia
❥ | With the Fire on High – Elizabeth Acevedo
❥ | Full Disclosure – Camryn Garrett

And finally the scariest bit: Audiobooks
I struggle so hard with audiobooks it’s ridiculous. But, I’m adding this to this post because I have physical books of every audiobook I own. I like to read and listen simultaneously… that’s the only way I can actually finish them.
❥ | Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen
❥ | Sleeping Giants – Sylvain Neuval
❥ | Otherworld – Jason Segal & Kirsten Miller

Yes, I realize we only have two months left in 2020, but again… you can’t stop the ambition. But! What are some books you absolutely need to finish before the year is up? Any on this list? Let me know in the comments below!

Good luck with all your books! You can do it~ I loved Otherworld and With the Fire on High, hope you enjoy them both~

I have so many sequels I want to finish before the year end, the priority being Deck of Omens, Muse of Nightmares, and Tower of Nero. I enjoyed all of the previous books in the series but mainly, I just want to cross some series off my list!

Muse of Nightmares is DEFINITELY one I want to finish … I’m just too scared to read it alone lol

This is such a great list of books. I am going to hype Sleeping Giants because the audiobook is a full cast and should be a lot of fun to dive into. Happy reading!

[…] I ramble yet again about mood reading and TBR’s and failure while also making a semi… TBR… of books I need to get to before 2021? […]
