Reader Problems Tag… in gifs

Do you all know how long it’s been since I’ve done a tag???

I don’t actually know and I’m too lazy to look.

HOWEVER, I was tagged by Consu (thank you so much ❤ ) and I’m ready to answer some questions.

You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?

That’s basically it. I stare at my shelf until I get this gut feeling and then I pick it up.

You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?

#DNFQueen right here and if you’re unfortunate, I’ll stop reading even earlier.

No, but in all seriousness, it depends. For example, I damn near (I’m lying…. I out right) hate read A Sorrow Fierce and Falling because I had made it this far, I would not lose this battle.

So, it depends ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?

The Goodreads challenge doesn’t stress me out, especially since I set my goal to something I’m 95% sure I can accomplish, but I leave that 5% open for a bit of a challenge.

Long story short: we’re conquering this.

The covers of a series you love do not match. How do you cope?

I buy the ebook, bury the book in my closet and act like it never happened.

Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?

You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?

A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?

I’ll read reviews. It’s the best of both worlds: they’re a recap of book one while telling me if this book is worth it.

You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?

I’ve already been burned once It’s not happening again.

You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?

My go to method is to let it pass? If you force it, it’ll only get worse.

Which sucks, since that had led me to being behind on ARC these past few months… I’m struggling guys.

But I 100% stand by it… it works.

There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?

If it’s by an author I trust or a book thats SO HIGH ON MY TBR IT REACHES THE MOON… then I’ll buy.

But I’m happy waiting for my library to get it in, they’re pretty on top of things.

After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?

Again… depends. Godsgrave has been on my shelf for a year? And I bought the first edition? Soooooooooooooo

Guess who I’m tagging…?

No pressure or anything ❤ .

Very obvious question, but what are your reader problems? Have you done this tag? Let me know in the comments below!
