January Wrap-Up + February TBR || Everytime I say I’m in a reading slump… I’m not

January has been I think one of the best blogging months for my mental health.

Me not daily posting really took a weight off my head that I didn’t even know was there and I went pretty lax on the reading front also… though I still averaged the amount I usually read a month so… kudos to me.

I’m going to be using my rep indicators in my wrap up. This idea was Romie’s @RomieWeDeserveLove so credit for the idea for these markers goes there!

🌈 = books with lgbt+ representation

🌞 = representation of people of colour

β™Ώ = disability rep

🌸 = mental illness rep

βœ” = was on my monthly tbr

πŸ“š = physical book

πŸ“ = ARC

  • The Gilded Wolves { The Gilded Wolves #1 } – Roshani Chokshi ✰✰✰✰ + review πŸŒˆπŸŒžπŸŒΈβœ”πŸ“

Best This Month: The Line Between ❀

I actually didn’t post much which I warned you all about so…. this should be short…ish

I spoke some positivity, talked about my mess of ARC shelves, made some reading resolutions, and did a Q&A with the author of White Stag.

Oh, I also talked about rantingThat’s it.

I do plan on posting more, considering my sizable TBR that I’ve made… which most of it was on accident… I didn’t realize I requested that many ARC’s.

  • Dealing in Dreams – Lilliam Rivera*
  • The Shadowglass – Rin Chupeco*
  • Sherwood – Meagan Spooner*
  • To Best the Boys – Mary Wever*
  • Never Contented Things – Sarah Porter*
  • Caraval – Stephanie Garber

So, in total, I haveΒ 13 books I’m going to read.Β If I read 3 books a week, that 12 books. plus one and that’s…Β you get it.

Though the only mandatory books I need to read are the ARC’s, I’m not going to stress myself out with the Black-A-Thon, though I’m going toΒ try to get through it.Β Wish me luck??

How’s your January looking? Any plans? Was it a good reading month? What are you planning to read? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I’m glad you had a good month mental health wise. I hope it continues into February for you. It’s always nice to give yourself a little break when it comes to blogging. Book blogging is a hobby, but it can sometimes turn into a lot of work if we’re not careful. I hope you are enjoying Black-a-thon so far. Happy February!
