Top Five Wednesday- Books I Want to Read Before 2019

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme run by Thoughts on Tomes and Ginger Reads Lainey. The Goodreads group is linked here.

There are so many books I’ve just been… putting off. Whether they be books for challenges or personal goals, I’m really bad at sticking with a set TBR… but that won’t stop me from trying 😉 .

The Cruel Prince – Holly Black || I put this on this months TBR… I won’t speak anything into the universe, but if I hypothetically don’t read this book in November… hopefully next month?

Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen || IF I DON’T GET THIS DONE BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2019, I GIVE YOU ALL PERMISSION TO YELL AT ME.

Monsters of Men – Patrick Ness || I’m probably going to get to this in December (I’m actually planning it… I’m making it a thing) because we have to end the year in tears amirite??

The Boneless Mercies – April Genevieve Tucholke || Another one that I’m planning on reading in December, but it’s for a weird reason… that 99% correlates to the movie Beowulf which traumatized me as a child… again, strange, I know.

Simon vs. the Homosapien Agenda – Becky Albertalli || I want to finally get to this so I can finally get to the movie… look I know I’m late.

I know this was basically my December TBR, but… it works, right?

What are some books you plan to read before the end of the year? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I have The Cruel Prince on my list this week as well! I’m definitely trying to get it done before the sequel is out in January. I hope you enjoy it, and the rest of these books as well! Happy reading💖
