EFFULGENT | BRILLIANTLY RADIANT
A BOOK WITH A BEAUTIFUL COVER

blanca y roja by anna marie mclemore.jpg

My most recent purchase was Blanca Y Roja and I just know it’s going to be gorgeous on the inside, too.

METANOIA | THE JOURNEY OF CHANGING ONE’S MIND, HEART, SELF, OR WAY OF LIFE
A CHARACTER WHO GOES THROUGH A MAJOR TRANSFORMATION

touch of gold by annie sullivan

Review

A Touch of Gold had a plot twist that should have been caught, but I fully take responsibility for not catching it… for reasons. But seriously, character development was pretty good 😉 .

SOCKDOLAGER | DECISIVE RETORT; MIC DROP
A CHARACTER WHO ALWAYS HAS A GOOD COMEBACK

Original

If I chose Alucard… would that be… you know what, I’m doing it. Alucard for the win

SESQUIPEDALIAN | CONTAINING MANY SYLLABLES; LONG WINDED
THE LONGEST BOOK YOU’VE READ

outlander

I have a Top Ten list for this, but according to Goodreads, Outlander comes in at first… Granted, I didn’t finish it… BUT I WAS CLOSE, SO WE’RE COUNTING IT.

EPHEMERAL | LASTING FOR A VERY SHORT TIME
THE SHORTEST BOOK YOU’VE READ

leave the window open ve schwab

Again, according to Goodreads, and we’re not counting the books that say “unknown page number it’s Leave the Window Open by Victoria Schwab, coming in at ONE WHOLE PAGE XD. I would do more research and find a legit answer… but it’s late, soooooooooo

SERENITY | THE STATE OF BEING CALM, PEACEFUL, AND UNTROUBLED
A BOOK THAT MAKES YOU FEEL CALM AND HAPPY

graceling by kristin cashore

If I’m honest, Graceling makes me feel really calm and happy? That’s the first book that comes to mind- I just love so much about that book.

OBLIVION | THE STATE OF BEING UNAWARE OF WHAT’S HAPPENING AROUND YOU
A NOVEL WITH A COMPLEX PLOT

an unkindness of magicians by kat howard

Review

If I said Vicious… would that be complex plot or complex characters?

Nah, but I’d say a more recent read: An Unkindness of Magicians? So much was happening, so many threads that connected to a bigger plot… it was cool if not a little confusing.

RANTIPOLE | TO BE WILD AND RECKLESS
A RECKLESS CHARACTER

lila bard a darker shade of magic fanart

Original

Another V.E. Schwab answer: Lila Bard. She is the definition  of reckless, especially in A Gathering of Shadows XD.

NEFARIOUS | WICKED, VILLAINOUS, DESPICABLE
YOUR FAVOURITE VILLAIN

not even bones by rebecca schaeffer

Review

… I won’t say my obvious answer, but the mother from Not Even Bones? REAKED ME OUT. AND SHE’S NOT EVEN A MAJOR CHARACTER, SHE DISAPPEARS AFTER THE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS. BUT I’M SCARED.

INEFFABLE | TOO GREAT TO BE EXPRESSED IN WORDS
YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK OR BOOK SERIES

Reviews: The Young Elites; Vicious

Again, with me avoiding obvious, repetitive questions…

Series: I don’t mention it often anymore, but The Young Elites? THE ROSE SOCIETY WAS MY JAM BUT THE WHOLE THING BROKE MY HEART AND I DON’T KNOW WHY I STOPPED TALKING ABOUT IT.

Book: As of recently, my last five star read was… Vicious. I read that two months ago… I’m really picky with my five star ratings.

TROUVAILLE | SOMETHING LOVELY DISCOVERED BY CHANCE
A BOOK YOU DIDN’T EXPECT TO LOVE

Review: The Girl From the Well; The Suffering

I wasn’t expecting to ABSOLUTELY LOVE The Girl From the Well duology? But it just… stuck with me and it’s a definite fave.

NOSTALGIA | A WISTFUL DESIRE TO RETURN IN THOUGHT TO A FORMER TIME IN ONE’S LIFE
A BOOK OR CHARACTER THAT MAKES YOU FEEL NOSTALGIC

fangirl rainbow rowell

Fangirl makes me nostalgic, not because I read it two years ago, but I’m not in school anymore and though I absolutely HATED school… it just brings back certain memories 🙂 .

Guess who I’m tagging…?

I actually tried to give different answers… and put effort…. *claps forever in congrats*
