Three Bookish Things Book Tag

Siobhan tagged me to do this one and obviously I had to do it because I have a thing for answering questions 😀 So thank you for the tag!

Three Read Once and Loved Authors

I’m taking this as authors I’ve only read one book by… or debut authors.

C.B. Lee – I haven’t read Not Your Villain (nerves stop me from doing so), but we know how much I loved this book…..

Emma Mills –  I read this one recently and I’m ready to empty my wallet for ALL OF HER BOOKS. THE FEELS GUYS. THE FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELS.

Akemi Dawn Bowman – I actually read Summer Bird Blue before this post was scheduled to go up, but we’re counting it because SHE HAS YET TO DISAPPOINT. MY EYES ARE EMPTY OF TEARS… SHE TOOK THEM ALL.

Three Titles I’ve Watched But Haven’t Read

THIS IS SO HAAAAAAARRRD

A Walk to Remember – I FREAKIN’ LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH FBDUSIVFUDSIVGB

Twilight – I’ll admit, elementary me (yes I’m young) loved this first movie… now the cynic in me doesn’t… but this soundtrack is in my top 10 ❤

Narnia – It’s tradition that I watch this around Christmas every year. I was planning to buy the whole series, but I’m kind of broke, so *shrugs*

Three Characters You Love

Should I give my usual answers? Nah… I spare you the repetitiveness

Meg Corbyn – this is the only exception because HOW COULD SHE NOT MAKE THIS LIST???

Todd and Viola – They count as one because they are best together and I NEED THEM TO BE SAFE. BOOK THREE WILL KILL ME.

Enne and Levi – Again, another power couple who slay my life… No explanation needed *shrugs*

Three Series Binged

I read all of these in three days in Summer ’16 soooooooooo

Shatter Me series-  I’ve said this before, but I read all of these on the couch for three days and reading a sexy scene with your sister sitting next to you is the most awkward thing.

Nadia Stafford trilogy – I also read these all on my couch (I was a potato that summer) and honestly? So glad I discovered this series, it’s out of my bubble, but I loved it so much.

The Hunger Games trilogy – Yeah… do I need to mention the couch again? I had already seen the movies (I LOVE THEM) but reading these was something I didn’t know I needed to do ❤ .

Three Current Favourite Book Covers

These are all ARC’s I own, but they all speak to me

Pride by Ibi Zoboi – LOOK AT THAT EXCELLENCE. I LOVE THEM. I LOVE THIS. IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL

Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand – The cover was actually what made me request this book. I still kind of don’t really know what it’s about other than there’s a black bisexual/ace character in here?… so I’m excited ❤ .

What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera – THE CUTENESS IS TOO MUCH. I’M READY FOR THE FEELS.

Three Goals for the Year

  • Reach out to publishers more (and succeed because… I’ve been failing lately)
  • Make more connections in the bookish community (because I’m too shy to live)
  • Upgrade my Bookstagram skills (because I’m working with limited props and a shitty camera and it makes me sad not really)

Guess who I’m tagging…?

I’m only tagging three people because there are people over and it’s a miracle that I was able to blog with them here. ¯\_()_/¯

Talk to Me

Let me know if you did the tag, I’d love to see your answers!

      1. Bahaha 😂 I love your mom now. The movies are still cringe-worthy.

They don’t, and I don’t know why. Her latest series City of the Lost may be made into a tv show soon! It’s such a great thriller series and has connections to the one you mentioned.

  1. Great taag!! I’ve also never read A Walk To Remember and I loooove the movie, it makes me cry every time, but again every nicholas spark movie kind of has a greater impact on me than his books, which is kind of sad haha

      1. I mean, seven books is NOT gonna come cheap, I recommend buying the first one (one of my faves) and seeing if you actually like them. They are a lot but since they are for kids it’s an easy read so don’t be intimidated!

  2. I only recently read a book by Emma Mills, and I totally feel in love with her as an author as well! And ahhh I’m so happy you loved Starfish, LaRonda!! ❤ (Also … I'm so, so ready to scream about What if It's Us with you!!)

Thanks so much for tagging me for this! ❤
