TBR Book Tag

Guess who’s super late on this… Sorry Angelica, but I do appreciate the tag! Do I even need to tell you all to check her out? Her blog is goals

I’m currently sick, though so someone wish me some kind of speedy recovery because my voice is gone.

Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?

shelf

I have a physical shelf in my room full of books I haven’t read, so print>ebook, though I do have some books on my Nook that I need to get to *cough EoS cough* (it’s only six I’m so dramatic).

A book that has been on your TBR the longest.

dorthy must die by danielle paige.jpg

When I go on my Goodreads shelf, it says Dorthy Must Die has been on my TBR shelf since 2015… my library got my back.

A book that you recently added to your TBR list?

wild beauty by anne marie mclemore.jpg

It’s Wild Beauty by Anna Marie-McLemore… it’s actually a re-add because I read the first few lines in a newsletter and a scene made me uncomfortable… but I loved When the Moon was Ours, so I had to give her another chance ❤

A book on your TBR list strictly because of its beautiful cover.

not even bones by rebecca schaeffer.jpg

Almost all of them…but my most recent one added other than Wild Beauty was Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer. You know I have a thing for simplistic covers and the white background with the silver and red… yeeeeesssssssssssss.

A book on your TBR that you never plan on actually reading.

windwitch by susan dennard

Every book on my TBR is one I mean to read… eventually. Now, if i take it off in the future? That’s a spur of the moment thing. However, one that I don’t have much faith in me getting to anytime soon is Windwitch. I was highly disappointed in Truthwitch, yet the worldbuilding has so much promise… but the book is so huge… yikes.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for.

bridge of clay by markus zusak.jpg

I’m not going to give my usual answer Muse of Nightmares *cries forever* and say Bridge of Clay. I damn near cried when I say the first few chapters were released. It was pure magic T_T

A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read but you.

the night circus by erin morgenstern

I could use Angelica’s answer and say Red Rising (you aren’t alone 😉 ) but I’ll say The Night Circus? Because every time I go to buy it, I end up procrastinating. The hype is intimidating me……

A book on your TBR everyone recommends you.

autoboyography christina lauren

I don’t really get recommended stuff… but Autoboyography has been getting so much love lately; I was supposed to read it for Pride Month, but I ran out of time :/

A book on your TBR you’re very excited to read.

vicious by ve schwab

Vicious by V.E. Schwab no doubt. Especially since the sequel is coming out and the author stated on Twitter that the main character is canonically asexual *squeals forever*

The number of books on your Goodreads TBR shelf.

361. I did a major purge from 503 to this… Are we proud???

Guess who I’m tagging…?

This tag just showed me that I did to get through my TBR shelves… yikes.

  1. Oh my gosh, I love you. Your TBR is also nearly 400 books which was what mine was at, too! I felt like I was the only one! lol. I’ve been getting pretty strict about purging lately, so if I’m not liking something it goes in the donation pile. I’m determined to get my TBR under 100 books.

  2. I listened to the audiobook for The Night Circus a while ago and it was fantastic! I really recomend it,
Is it bad that I’m excited for Vengeful but haven’t read Vicious yet??
Thanks so much for the tag! I’ll get to it soon

      1. Omg same. I have so many books to read so the library books kinda got shoved out of the way which sucks. I hope to get to them soon.
