Top Ten Tuesday- Read, White and Blue Books

Top Ten Tuesday was created by  The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

I thought I was clever with that title…

I’m just going to say this now: my shelf is full of red, blue and black books… but not white. So there’s that.

Red Books:

Vicious – This is the last book before I can say I’ve officially read all of V.E. Schwabs books. But now I’m nervous.

Genesis – The only reason this series is even remotely scary is because The Matrix movie scared me as a child and still kind of do now… (I may refuse to watch them).

Order of the Phoenix – The UK version is red, so I’m counting it… even though I’m still on book 4…

White Books:

Nevernight – Guess who hasn’t read book two even though they’ve had it since release date and preordered it?

An Unkindness of Magic – This is the only book on my shelf that is purely white and it’s GORGEOUS.

A List of Cages – I’m not ready to cry. That’s all.

Blue Books:

The Thief Lord – I read this book so long ago and I just recently found it in my closet so you know it’s due for a re-read.

Anger is a Gift – I haven’t read this one yet, I’m not ready to cry, but I know my life will be changed after I read it (yes, I’m dramatic…).

City of Islands – Cutest thing ever, strangely sad and I want more because SHE’S SO YOUNG AND HER ADVENTURES AND FRIENDSHIP AND ALL OF IT T_T

Archivist Wasp – I’m being petty here but… I mean… I does have red, white and blue on the cover so……

Well… this was hard, but only because I don’t own many white books… Yikes…

  1. Omg, I remember I issued The Thief Lord from our local library so long ago and even though I hardly remember the story, I know it was so enchanting and magical. Cornelia Funke can write such brilliant middle grade books.
