Pride Month is Here!! Which… I wouldn’t have know about without Twitter (thank you guys) so I have a plan!
Minus ARC’s and the occasional book here and there, this month is dedicated to LGBTQIAP+ books. And most (if not all) of these have central queer and POC characters in them, so it’s a double win 😉 .
Autoboyography – Christina Lauren {M/M}
I have been wanting to read this for the longest, but my brain decided to wait until the paper back releases… because I’m smart…¯\_(⌣̯̀⌣́)_/¯ But I’ve also been in a huge Contemporary craving phase, so I have all the faith that this will lessen the need.
When The Moon was Ours – Anna Marie McLemore {T}
I read McLemore’s The Weight of Feathers and though it was mediocre for me, I loved how lyrical her writing was and Magical Realism is one of my three favorite genre’s.
Not Your Sidekick – C.B. Lee {BT}
Again, another one that I’ve seen, but for some reason has flew past my radar, but I’m here for the cuteness and rep and ALL OF IT.
Alex as Well – Alyssa Brugman {I}
I actually went searching for more LGBTQIAP+ books that focused on the not so talked about sexualities and I’ve never read about an intersex character. I feel it’ll be interesting since it’s a new thing for me. This is also one of the only books on this list without a POC as the central character, but again, it’s a topic I haven’t read about, so it’s fine.
One Man Guy – Michael Barakiva {M/M}
I needed cute and funny. ‘Nuff said.
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda – Becky Albertalli {M/M}
Refer to the one above, but also it’s about damn time I get to this one. It’s been on my bedside table for the longest. And no… I haven’t seen the movie either T_T *don’t shoot*.
Anger is a Gift – Mark Oshiro {LGTA}
I won this in an Instagram giveaway and it came in yesterday!! I had no idea it was a queer book, but now I am even more excited to get to it ❤
I’m probably not naming all of the rep. in this book, I know there’s homosexuality, an asexual character, a nonbinary character, POC, a MC with anxiety, a transgender character and a character who wears a hijab.
Re-Reads
Let’s Talk About Love – Claire Kann {A}
Yes, the Ace Book Of My Heart ❤ We know how emotional I get over this book T_T Me and this book are ONE.
Review: Let’s Talk About Love
Secondhand Origin Stories – Lee Blauersouth {LBAA}
Lesbians, Bisexuals, Asexuals, Agenders and an 8 year old Artificial Intelligence who prefers they/them pronouns. I love this book to pieces (if I don’t make it known enough ❤ ).
Review: Secondhand Origin Stories
I didn’t just want to stick to the LBG part, so I found more! And I kept it low on the rereads because not only are they not priority reads, most of the LGBTQIAP+ books I own are with queer side characters (which isn’t my aim here).
Despite my list above, I’m looking for more recs. Do you have any for me? Let me know in the comments below!
These novels look fabulous I hope you love them!

These are amazing books you picked, LaRonda! I can’t wait to read a book by Anna Marie McLemore, though I was planning on starting with The Weight of Feathers, and I’m re-evaluating that decision now. Autoboyography is so high on my TBR list as well.
I hope you love all these books, and happy Pride Month. ❤

Thank you ❤ You should still try The Weight of Feathers; despite my feelings on it, I couldn't put it down or get it out if my head, so maybe you'll like it 🙂
