Top Five Wednesday- Favorite Jokesters

It’s pretty rare for a character to make me laugh genuinely. However, there are a few and I’m saying it now: I tried really hard to give actual reasons, but all of these are basically me attempting not to just gush my heart out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .

Magiano || The Young Elites series

 

You know what’s unfair? The lack of fanart Magiano has. Someone please get on this. I can’t draw, so don’t make me do it. I make it clear here on the blog that I love him and he deserved better and I love him. The scene with the loot made me chuckle way more than I thought possible.

I love him too, which I make know in my review, because I have no chill and The Fox Prince is amazing. Him sitting back letting Gauri do all the asskicking and his reactions are gold XD

Look, I could I NOT add Jesper? It’d be an injustice.

Nimona

When I was making this list, I noticed the abundance of male characters, until I thought of my girl Nimona. I mean, look at that picture above. The shark scene is so important to me (if you’ve read the book, you know that ending… I cried, no shame in my game ¯\_(⌣̯̀⌣́)_/¯ ).

Iko || The Lunar Chronicles

When I was reading the Lunar Chronicles for the first time, I may have overlooked Iko. However, as the story continued and a few re-reads, I have come to love her. I have yet to read Wire and Nerves, but she made me laugh on multiple occasions, especially in Cress and Winter. The scene with Cinder and Kai in Cress is always a fave XD .
