Top Ten Tuesday- Books I could Re-Read Forever

Top Ten Tuesday (1)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by  The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

You know what’s strange? I’m not much of a re-reader. At all. And if I do re-read, it’ll be books on my nook because I have certain sections bookmarked. But when I do find those books that I have to go back to, it’s some type of magic.

The Rose Societyby Marie Lu

Specifically the second one. And then maybe the third. But you don’t know how many times I have re-read The Rose Society because that is my favorite book of the series and I love it and I’ll probably re-read it soon.

Review: { The Young Elites }

The Others series by Anne Bishop

Did… did you think this series wasn’t going to be mentioned? ALL TIME FAVORITE SERIES RIGHT HERE.

Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi

This book was just really cute and fun and made me smile more than I had in a while. I haven’t re-read it as much as I had the two above, but I know I’m going to re-read it much more in the future.

Review: { Furthermore }

The Book Thief by Mark Zusak

I. LOVE. MAX. AND. LEISL. SO. MUCH. FRIENDSHIP GOALS  FOR LIFE. They were easily the best part of the book. And that ending? Ha, you know me, I love getting my soul broken over and over :’) .

Can’t even lie, I loved this book when I first finished it. I loved it so much, as soon as I finished it, I immediately re-read it. It was weird. But, I do continue to go back to this one occasionally when I want my romance fill.

book 14

Under Rose Tainted Skies by Louise Gornall

This is one where the romance was cute and I thought the portrayal of mental health was done pretty well. I can’t really put in my two cents on that since I’m not agoraphobic or OCD, but the fact that love didn’t fix her illness, she has a healthy relationship with her therapist and she took that last step twice in the end (if you’ve read the book, you’ll get it; it made me extremely happy) I tend to come back to this one.

book 18

Starflight by Melissa Landers

I won’t lie: I’m here for the romance. It’s a classic hate-to-love trope which I’m cool with and it’s fun.

book 19

Crossing the Line { The Raven Files #1 } – Meagan Rogers

Really short, really fun; it was one of the first “spy” book that I absolutely loved. And there’s no romance which is always a plus though there’s potential for future books.

The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury

I’ve re-read this often.. Like a lot… And it’s strange because I didn’t anticipate this story sticking with me as much as it did.

TT 19.2.jpg

Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen

It’s funny because when I first read this, I did not like it. I didn’t like the character choices. And then months (or a year) later I decided to re-read. And I’ve been re-reading it since and upped my rating.

How many times have I said re-read: 11 (including the title). And I know I didn’t add any series all time favorites to this list; I added books I could see myself going back to that wouldn’t leave me emotionally compromised (except The Book Thief… and The Other’s series). Cheers 🙂 .
